Sheila Fynn-Korsah holds an Mphil in Fisheries Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences from the University of Cape Coast, Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences. She has acquired training in Fish Stalk Assessment, Fisheries Management and Fisheries leadership which awarded her certificates. She served as Teaching Assistant in the Department during her national service. She was also contracted as a Research Assistance on the Sustainable Fisheries Management Project (SFMP) through the UCC-SFMP collaboration to conduct an assessment of the Ghanaian demersal stocks. She also provides extension services on the SFMP on the Community Based Fisheries Management of the Densu Delta. She also coordinates and provides logistical support for short courses for the Centre for Coastal Management, University of Cape Coast. She is currently a PhD student, pursuing Fisheries Science at the University of Cape Coast, Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences. She likes to play games at her leisure time.
