The Avu Lagoon CREMA is a community-run project dedicated to protecting nature and promoting tourism in a beautiful lagoon area in Ghana's Volta Region. It's a special place because it's the only spot in Ghana where you can find the sitatunga, a unique water-loving antelope. Beyond that, it's a haven for birdwatchers, with many different water birds calling the lagoon home. The project is managed by the local communities, offering visitors a chance to experience the natural beauty and wildlife of the area.
