The Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience (ACECoR) has held a week-long grantsmanship training for staff and associates of the Centre.  The training facilitated by Gerard den Ouden, a grantsmanship expert, was held at the Pempamsie Hotel in Cape Coast from 27^th June to 1^st July 2022. The goal of the workshop was to build the capacity of staff to write winnable grant proposals to ensure the sustainability of the Centre.

The training took a hands-on approach where participants worked in groups to develop key components of project proposals such as logical frameworks, impact pathways, risk management matrices among others towards developing full project proposals for funding.

The ACECoR team looks forward to writing and winning more grants after going through this comprehensive training workshop.
