The CostMan (Coastal Mangroves) project aims to create a decision support system for mangrove restoration. By compiling social and economic data from coastal communities, the project will identify degraded mangrove areas and provide information to guide restoration efforts. Essentially, CostMan helps pinpoint where mangrove degradation has occurred and informs strategies for effective restoration.
