African Centres of Excellence (ACEs) and their partners, the Association of African Universities (AAU), National Councils for Tertiary Education and other stakeholders with support from the World Bank converged last Monday 18th February, 2019 for a 10-day inaugural ACE Impact workshop and bootcamp in Djibouti with a concerted goal of strengthening research, academic and development programmes at national and continental levels. The meeting was also aimed at nurturing innovation and learning from shared experiences.
The University of Cape Coast’s Centre for Coastal Management has been conditionally selected as one of the five new Centres of Excellence in Ghana under the World Bank’s African Centre of Excellence (ACE) IMPACT III Project.
The Centre for Coastal Management (CCM) and the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences of the University of Cape Coast in collaboration with the University of Rhode Island (USA) with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is organising the second Conference on Fisheries and Coastal Environment (CFCE).
