This Global Engagement Research Fund project is all about improving the health of people and the environment in West Africa's coastal areas. It's focused on building a strong, lasting partnership between the University of Stirling and the Centre for Coastal Management (ACECOR) at the University of Cape Coast in Ghana. They're working together to understand the problems facing Ghana's coast through workshops and field visits. Ultimately, they want to come up with research projects that can get funding from different sources, while also strengthening the connection between the two universities. Essentially, it's about combining expertise to find solutions for a healthier coast.
