A team of scientists (Team SafeFish) affiliated to the Centre for Coastal Management of the University of Cape Coast proposes to develop a low cost, easy to use and easy to maintain rapid field test kit that incorporates colour cued chemical reactions and laser spectroscopy for quick detection of these toxic chemicals.
The “Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation in Coastal Areas of Ghana” short course is a five-day intensive course for professionals working on coastal economies, spatial planning, environmental science and population/health. The course is designed to meet individual learning needs as well as to provide valuable and constructive feedback for both participants and trainers alike.
