Dr. Florent Engelmann of the French Embassy in Ghana and the new attaché for scientific and higher education cooperation visited ACECoR and the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture (DFAS)to discuss potential areas of collaboration in research, student internships and training.
Rear Admiral Issah Adam Yakubu, Chief of the Ghana Naval Staff paid a courtesy call to the Director of the Centre for Coastal Management - ACECoR to discuss Areas for mutual cooperation in maritime research involving research fellows/students among others, the development of short courses in fisheries observer programs, maritime safety, and the impacts of distant water fleets.

6th ACE Impact Regional Workshop
The Association of African Universities (AAU) has announced that the 6th ACE Impact Regional Workshop will be held virtually this year. This year's event will begin on the 8th of November and end on the 11th of November, 2021. The meeting is being organised for Africa Higher Education Centres of Excellence for Development Impact (ACE Impact) to convene and review all projects at mid-term and strengthen project implementation and effectiveness.
